I started recording this album in 2015 and finished by the end of 2016. Besides my first solo album, "Arjun," this material is the first music I have written since my early 20s. Alone With Everyone is the first of many releases to come in what im calling my "art pieces". I call them this as they are abstract, experimental with no preconceived ides or boundaries. Usually the music that comes through me feels like what I call "the beautiful darkness" and this album really swims in that. It becomes very heavy at times tapping into some of my progressive rock, metal and Sigur Ros influences but also very piano heavy. Not knowing any music theory, these melodies, as in all my future releases, come straight from the heart. Starting from a blank canvas, I improvise, building tracks until they form a finished composition. This release was recorded in Ableton Live on my computer mostly in Los Angeles, CA and Little Falls, NJ. Although we can experience the connected ONENESS of this universe, we also, in this dreamlike illusion of our separateness, feel a beautiful sadness that we are alone with everyone. Love and healing are always there in it all and hope in this this music also. Thank you and enjoy!
